CHARITY DINNER

Every two years, the FWG-Foundation hosts a very special event: a charity dinner in support of a child or young person and their family, organised in collaboration with the KMSK (Association for Children with Rare Diseases). The evening takes place at Miss Miu Badenerstrasse and is all about community, joy, and meaningful support. KMSK is dedicated to helping families with children affected by rare diseases—providing them with urgently needed assistance.

The on-site team volunteers their time to create an unforgettable evening, featuring a carefully curated menu and an entertaining programme. At the heart of it all is the supported family, who spend the evening together with the guests.

All proceeds from the charity dinner are donated directly to the family, making a real and positive impact.
A heartfelt evening—for a good cause.

CHARITY DINNER 2025

Lewis, 7 years old

On October 28, 2025, the FWG-Foundation and the KMSK Sponsoring Association will host a special charity dinner. The evening will focus on Lewis, a seven-year-old boy living with a rare genetic mutation that affects his motor and cognitive development, and is associated with autism and reduced muscle tone.

Lewis is cheerful, communicative, and full of imagination. He loves toy cars, music, and anything with wheels – and is happiest when spending time with his family.

The family used to enjoy regular bike rides together. But since Lewis has outgrown the bike trailer, those outings are no longer possible. A specially designed Opair wheelchair bike could make these shared moments part of their everyday life again.

The evening is dedicated to Lewis – with a thoughtfully curated menu, live entertainment, and a glimpse into his unique world.

WOULD YOU LIKE TO SUPPORT LEWIS AND DONATE?

Your donation will go 1:1 to Lewis and his family and will be used to purchase an Opair electric wheelchair bike.

CHARITY DINNER 2023

Andris, 10 years

On September 26, 2023, the FWG-Foundation, together with the KMSK sponsoring association, hosted a very special charity dinner. At the heart of the evening was Andris, a ten-year-old boy with a rare genetic mutation that brings daily challenges for him and his family. Despite global developmental delays and autistic traits, Andris is full of energy—he loves being outdoors, listening to engines, and watching steam or smoke.

His biggest wish: an electric tandem bike to give him more mobility and allow for shared outings with his family. The evening was designed entirely around Andris' world—with a menu inspired by his passions, accompanied by show performances and many moving moments.

Thanks to the generous support of our guests, we were able to present him with CHF 13,060 and make his wish come true.
An unforgettable evening that shows just how much we can achieve together.
