CHARITY PROJECTS

The FWG-Foundation is committed to charitable projects together with its partner restaurants. Every six months, a new project is selected for targeted support. The focus is on initiatives in the areas of education, culture, sport and social integration. For every charity dish sold in the restaurants of the Familie Wiesner Gastronomie, CHF 1 is donated directly to the current project. The aim of these projects is to help people in difficult life situations or to strengthen social cohesion. Thanks to this continuous support, new, significant initiatives are created year after year that make a lasting difference.

FURTHER INITIATIVES

In addition to our major charity projects, the FWG-Foundation also supports smaller initiatives that provide direct and uncomplicated help. These include, for example, Christmas gifts for people in challenging life situations or spontaneous support for local initiatives. These additional efforts complement our core projects and allow us to respond flexibly to current needs.

We support the valuable work of the foundation to provide these specially trained dogs to people who need their help.

PAST PROJECTS

FOUNDATIN IPT

CH 16'500 | October 1, 2024 - March 31, 2025

The IPT Foundation provides targeted support to people who do not receive state aid to help them find work and build a stable livelihood.

After losing their job, some people find it particularly difficult to re-enter the job market - for example due to a lack of education, limited language skills, advanced age or health restrictions. In Switzerland, unemployed people usually receive state support, but in some cases people with a work permit are left empty-handed. This can lead to isolation and worsened living conditions.</p

This is where the IPT Foundation comes in: it supports those affected individually and practically on their way back into the world of work - with the aim of creating long-term prospects.

This food is distributed free of charge to over 500 social institutions, such as homeless shelters, soup kitchens, and women's shelters, to support people in difficult life situations.

Through this work, the foundation builds a bridge between abundance and need, while also contributing to climate protection by preventing thousands of tons of CO₂ emissions each year. CHILDREN'S HOSPITAL ZURICH - ELEONOROA FOUNDATION

CHF 10,000 | Spring 2021

Seriously ill children often have to stay in hospital for weeks or even months. At the Zurich Children's Hospital, specialists not only provide high-quality medical care but also ensure educational support so that children can continue to grow and learn.

For two- to three-year-old patients, the hospital provides a dedicated kindergarten teacher who supports each child individually in their emotional, cognitive, motor, and language development. This helps them acquire important skills for entering kindergarten later on. The preschool program for chronically ill children is funded entirely through donations, with no government support.
